Cranford Soccer Club Recreational Soccer

CSC Recreational Soccer offers your child a great opportunity to have a lot of fun while participating in sports with a group of friends. With Fall and Spring Seasons, Recreational Soccer serves children from pre-K (age-4) to Grade 2 (and continues with Intercounty Soccer grade 3+). It’s all-inclusive being easy to pickup & play, even for a child who you might not typically consider enrolling in “athletics” or sports.

To participate, no prior soccer knowledge or experience is required by the player or their parents/guardians. Quite often a parent’s first experience of soccer is with their child… this is fantastic! In Recreational Soccer your child will be taught how to play soccer, with an emphasis on fun & group activity. All while learning the basic soccer skills that prepares them to continue play in the future if they wish.

Did you know the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) recommends one hour of activity per day for children and adolescents. Youth soccer can help your child achieve this goal and have fun doing it!

Smaller Fields for Maximum Involvement

The Cranford Soccer Club has embraced the USSoccer recommended guidelines to allow for maximum touches of the ball & player involvement, keeping the games fun. Each age group has their own “division” which is age specific. The club follows USSoccer recommendations for Youth Soccer which emphasizes fun, activity & touching the ball as much as possible. This keeps kids interested & look forward to playing each week and look forward to next season!
